The Catalina 34 MKII is truely a great vessel. Built with the sailor in mind she is fast , nimble and strong. Chainplates are inboard for close sheeting, keel stepped mast, Garhauer mainsheet systems and tracks. All winches are self-tailing and all lines lead aft for the single handed or short handed sailor.

Below she is roomy and very well fitted out. This vessel feels more in the 38-40 range below.

Large U shaped galley with double sinks. Deep re-fer with ice/freezer compartment. Propane stove and oven (tank in transom lazarette) solonoid controlled valve. Forward stateroom sleeps two with full lockers and storage, Aft stateroom sleeps 2 in queensize full birth. Again storage and lockers.

Upgraded house battery bank with inverter wired to ALL 110v outlets. Upgraded hi output alternator charges all batteries with ease.  Now that solar panels have become so cheap add 3 100w and be almost self sufficient on renewable energy.

Hotwater heater runs from shorepower or engine.

Sea birth for overnight watches, and convertable dinette into monster queen bed.

Nav station is well equiped and chart table has storage. Electronics are all working though some updates would be recommended. the Autopilot and wind instruments are current but a new chartplotter/gps would be a great compliment.

Built like a long range cruising boat, sails like a nimble club racer, handles with ease and all this in 34 feet.

Second owner has owned boat since it was 9 months old. ( the boat not the owner)
