1988 Bayliner 3818

This popular model, aka the 3870, has two double staterooms and two heads plus a separate tub/shower combo, and is perfect for trips with family and friends, providing both comfort and privacy. Twin Hinos cruise at 12 kts and there's a Westerbeke 8KW generator for hanging on a mooring or anchorage with all the comforts of home. The newer enclosure offers protection from the elements while underway, and an extra space for entertaining, whatever the weather.

From the roomy cockpit we enter through a sliding door to the salon, where the convertible dinette is to port with the entertainment center and bar with sink and icemaker (which freezes but doesn't make ice) to starboard. The lower helm is forward of the bar/entertainment center to starboard, with a dedicated helm seat and full electronics.

Down steps to the galley on the starboard side below the helm, and across to port is the midships cabin with a double berth. From the midships cabin a door leads to a head compartment with WC and a washbasin, with a sliding door leading to the tub with shower.

Beyond the tub with shower, another door leads directly to the master stateroom, which comprises a queen bed and lots of drawers and hanging lockers plus another head with washbasin ensuite on the starboard side.

The interior is spacious and light with large windows. There are window  blinds in the salon and window covers elsewhere. Storage is abundant throughout. There are three heaters - one in the salon and one in each stateroom, plus heat can be supplied via the engine.

The fly bridge is large with a hard extension over the cockpit and seating for 6+ passengers in addition to the captain. The enclosure is only a few years old and in good condition, as is the vinyl upholstery.
