1987 Nova Sundeck Trawler

The Nova 36 Sundeck was one of the better-selling boats of her type during the mid to late 1980’s thanks to her contemporary profile, a traditional all-teak interior, and an affordable price tag.  Still imported and marketed as the Heritage East 36 Sundeck, she’s built on a solid fiberglass, hull with moderate beam and a full-length, prop-protecting keel.  Several two stateroom, galley-down floor    plans were available during her production run and all managed to provide a roomy salon for a 36   footer as well as good storage and excellent headroom.  While the flybridge isn’t particularly large, there’s seating for 4-6 around the helm.  Additional features include a radar arch, wide side decks and a bow pulpit.  Out of productions in 1990, the molds were sent to Mainland Chins where production of the Heritage East 36 was resumed in 1997.  Several single and twin diesel engines options have been offered over the years. Among the engine options, this boat has the more popular twin Volvo 150-hp diesels which will cruise at 10 knots and reach a top speed of around 13 knots.

This sleek trawler has 2 double cabins with island type queen-size bed aft and double bunks foward. There is an abundance of built in storage cabinets, drawers, and in-suite vanity in the master stateroom, and plenty of hanging lockers.Both staterooms have in-suite heads, with aft head a stall walk in shower. Fwd head with electric toilet, aft head is a Vacu-flush toilet.

Interior is finished in teak throughout the boat. The vessel is entered through a starboard sliding door or an aft cabin door from the sundeck. The lower helm is starboard foward, with a sofa and chair. The sofa converts to a double sleeper
