1977 Californian LRC

The Californian LRC is often referred to as America's answer to the Grand Banks, and indeed was first designed as such but has since become a classic in its own right. With traditional trawler lines, she boasts wide, safe walkaround decks and a sea kindly hull design that decreases roll. The interior features teak and mahogany cabinetry and trim and a two double stateroom layout that is airy, spacious and comfortable. 

"Holdfast" is powered by twin naturally aspirated Caterpillar 3208 diesels that have been well maintained and are run regularly. The Kohler generator was new in 2013 and has only 550 hours.

Enter via the walkaround decks from the starboard or portside door directly into the salon. The inline galley is to port, and the L-shaped settee with dinette table to starboard. 

Down three steps to the forward stateroom, where there are up and over bunks and a head compartment with manual head, washbasin w/vanity and a shower stall. 

The aft stateroom is also down three steps, and is very spacious with two double berths and a full ensuite head with a half tub/shower behind sliding doors, vanity w/washbasin and an electric Thetford head.

There is snap-in carpet throughout the boat, easily removeable for engine access. Bamboo blinds in the salon filter the sunlight and there are exterior covers for all the windows -  the boat is very light and bright with 360 degree views.
