1975 Islander lapworth Cutter

Shadowfax is the Best example of a Islander 44 Lapworth design that I have ever seen. She underwent a "major" refit in the late 90's and cruised the South Pacific for many years. She has been meticulously maintained to the highest of yacht standards, 10 out of 10 for a boat of her age. She is a one of a kind, custom ordered from the factory with an all teak interior. Shadowfax is extensively outfitted for world cruising, here is a small list of equipment that is included; Raytheon radar, 2006 Navman autopilot, Garman GPS, Kenwood SSB/Ham radio, Autohelm windvane, water maker, 2008 Isotherm refrigeration/freezer, solar panel, dodger, bimini, cockpit weather cloths, 6 man life raft, outstanding set of fore and aft ground tackle with backup, new Force 10 stove and oven 2008, New batteries in 06/07, Balmar 110 amp high output alternator all standing rigging was replaced in 2005, Profurl roller furling, full suit of sails including 110% jib, storm staysail and a 135% that was new in 2005. Also included is 3/4 and 1.5 oz spinnakers and a triple reef full battened main that was new in 2000. Bottom was last painted in 03/08 and is in very good condition. Shadowfax also includes an enormous spare parts inventory for the onboard systems.
