1937 Atkins Ingrid

Unique Ingrid design with flush deck, this center cockpit ketch has a long history as a well-known local racer. She participated in the first Newport-Ensenada race in 1948, and also the race's 50th anniversary in 1998, when she sailed in the Ancient Mariner class.

Displacement: 14 tons

Walk-over center cockpit design with separate entry to the double aft cabin. The hatch forward leads to 4 steps down the companionway into the salon. The head is to port, and the galley to starboard. A centerline drop-leaf teak table is between two straight settees, with the V-berth forward. There is baffled shelving and storage throughout, with several hanging lockers and drawers. Enclosed head has vanity with Delft porcelain sink and tile.

"Eventide" was constructed of cedar over steam-bent oak frames, fastened with iron. New rudder in 2001.
